From a one-man workshop in Rejerrah to Cornwall’s 24/7 recovery garage.
Stuart MacCreadie founded Braefel Garage in 1987, working out of a single bay in Rejerrah. Almost four decades later, the workshop is still family-run — Andrew and Katherine MacCreadie now look after the day-to-day, with the same commitment to honest, hands-on local service.
We look after private drivers, trade customers and fleet operators across Rejerrah, Newquay, Goonhavern, St Newlyn East and the surrounding villages. Servicing, MOTs, brakes, diagnostics, electric and hybrid maintenance, manufacturer-compliant warranty work — all under one roof, with tailored options for vehicles of any age.
We’re also one of the few independent garages in Cornwall offering a 24-hour breakdown and recovery service, capable of recovering vehicles up to 6 tonnes. When the AA can’t reach you on a Cornish lane in the middle of the night, we usually can.
