Class 4 MOT Testing at Braefel Garage

Braefel Garage currently carries out MOT testing on Class 4 vehicles – Cars and light goods vehicles up to 3000kg. The fees are £54.85 for class 4 with a £25.00 retest fee if the vehicle is taken off-site (as per the DVSA pricing schedule).

Class 7 MOT Testing in Rejerrah, near Newquay

Class 7 testing (goods vehicles 3000 to 3500kg) can be arranged through us to be collected from Braefel Garage and taken to our subcontractor for testing. (there is no charge for delivery and collection but there are retest charges)

Taxi Testing at Braefel Garage

Braefel Garage carries out both Annual and Interim testing of Private hire and Hackney Carriage Taxis on behalf of Cornwall Council. Current fees are available on the Cornwall Council website.

These are private hire vehicles and hackney carriages (taxis). The difference between taxis and private hire vehicles and how they can operate is. Our current fees are £54.85 for an annual test and £45.00 for an interim test. Retest fees apply.

MOT Retests at Braefel Garage

Should your vehicle fail its MOT, Braefel Garage can carry out any necessary repairs. Just leave it with us and once the repairs have been completed, Braefel Garage can retest it for just £25, or if your vehicle is retested within 10 working days of the first test, the retest is free.
